Yes, you can get a few at stores like Walgreens, CVS, a bookstore (at the magazine section) or beauty supply store. They sell the sophisticates black hair, hype hair or both.

Not really the expert for this as I'm not black, but in a few barber shops and salons I think they do have a magazine called Black Hair no less. I am not kidding.

I've always wondered about that. The characteristics of the hair are not the same between the two.

Well, for some reason Asian girls carry textured hair well, too. This is coming from a black woman. Take an afro for example, I can see a Japaneese girl wearing one and it looks very flattering .We have different textures but something about this combo works when it comes to hair.Why are Asian models featured in most ';African-American Hair Style'; magazines?
My girlfriend has a lot of African American hair style magazines and I've never seen any Asians in it.





Some of the most traditional hairstyles African American females have (for example braids) cannot be done with Asian hair. Here is another person with no life wanting to start a fight with people on Yahoo.

I have never seen asian women in a black hair magazine, except for maybe Kimora. I think when you say MOST african american magazines, that the terminology you used may be wrong. You may see some in a few but most? Which magazines? Not black hair? I used to collect black hair magazines and i have never seen a lot of asian.


I have however seen a lot of latin american women.


The characteristics in the hair arent similar, but a lot of the weave would be similar to the asian texture.

Barbie a lot of guys perfer asian women better than black women??? Give me a break. Everybody wants a piece of chocolate but only a few have the balls to actually go for it.
Because most black people buy Asian hair. Most black women prefer Asian hair over the rest.

Go to Barnes n Noble or Borders and go the the magazine section and sit down and enjoy a frapp and look through them until you find a style you like and buy that one. That way you aren't buying 2-4 different magazines and finding nothing you like.Hair Styles Magazine???

Try Hair magazine. You can get it form supermarkets, drug stores, book shops etc. I was recommended to check this when I went to have my hair cut without deciding what kind of hair cut I wanted. It's pretty reasonable, and full of photos. So when you find what you want, you can just take it to the hair dresser and show it.

i don't know of any bridal hair magazines, just bridal hair i see in bridal magazines, and on the internt..on my wedding planning page, you can find a page of different bridal hair styles that my hair stylist have done. hopefully u may find something you like.
